Some vehicles are not broken — they are simply somewhere a vehicle cannot get out of on its own.
Recovery is the specialist end of the job: pulling a vehicle back onto the road from a ditch, verge, embankment, soft ground, sand or a flooded stretch. It needs a winch, the right anchor points and someone who knows where a vehicle can safely be pulled from.
We assess the ground and the vehicle before anything is attached. Winching from the wrong point bends chassis rails and tears off bumpers; winching at the wrong angle can roll a vehicle that was merely stuck.
